LOCATION:

  • On the lower leg, 5 cun below UB-40 Weizhong and midway between UB-55 Heyang and UB-57 Chengshan, in the center of the belly of the gastrocnemius muscle.
  • In the center of the belly of the gastrocnemius muscle, midway between UB-55 Heyang and UB-57 Chengshan,

NEEDLING:

  • Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.
  • Straight insertion, 1 to 2 cun.
  • Puncture perpendicularly 0.8 to 1.2 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
