- On the medial side of the big toe, 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail.
- At the medial aspect of the big toe, approximately 0.1 cun lateral to the lower corner of the cuticle.
- On the dorsal aspect of the big toe, at the junction of the lines drawn along the medial border of the nail and the base of the nail, approximately 0.1 cun from the corner of the nail.
- Puncture subcutaneously 0.1 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
- Slanted insertion in a proximal direction 0.1 to 0.2 cun, causing local pain. Alternatively, prick the point to draw a few drops of Blood.
