CONTRAINDICATIONS

Contraindicated for those with Yin Deficiency with Heat signs.
Contraindicated for those with Liver Yang Rising.
Contraindicated for those with nasal congestion due to Wind-Cold invasion who are Qi Deficient.
Contraindicated for those with headache from Blood Deficiency with accumulated Fire.
Contraindicated for those with toothache from Stomach Fire.
Overdose may cause dizziness or red eyes.
Avoid prolonged use.

INCOMPATIBILITIES

Incompatible with Rz. Acori Tatarinowii Shi Chang Pu.

NOTES

This is the primary herb for treating sinus problems.
It is the furry unopened flower bud.
It is usually combined with Pueraria Ge Gen and other Wind expelling herbs.
The essential oil can be inhaled for quick relief of sinus congestion.
This herb has a quite strong anti-fungal action on the skin and can be used as a facial cream for chloasma.
Daoists say this herb adds years to one's life span.
Dry-fried Magnolia Flower Chao Xin Yi has the hairs which irritate the throat removed.
