- This herb is most effective in treating cough with Qi Stagnation, manifesting as reduced appetite, and a stifling sensation in the chest and upper abdomen.
- Bul. Fritillariae Cirrhosae Chuan Bei Mu, nourishes and moistens the Lung and is commonly used in chronic conditions like tuberculosis, while Bul. Fritillariae Thunbergii Zhe Bei Mu is stronger and more commonly used in acute conditions of cough and asthma with thick Phlegm.
