Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 5-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes Yin.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Fr. Lycii Gou Qi Zi 5-18g Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney Blood and Yin and benefits Jing.
With Mo Han Lian, for hemoptysis due to Yin Deficiency.
Rx. Dioscoreae Shan Yao 9-30g Tonifies the Spleen, nourishes Stomach Yin, tonifies Kidney Yin and astringes Jing.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 5-30g Nourishes the Blood and regulates menstruation Astringes Yin.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
With Bai Shao, moderates spasms and alleviates pain, for painful spasms of the leg or abdomen.
Hb. Ecliptae Mo Han Lian 9-15g Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin, cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis and hematuria due to Hot Blood.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 3-12g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao.
Flos Sophorae Flavescentis Ku Shen 3-15g Clears Heat, dries Dampness and promotes urination.
Sm. Nelumbinis Lian Zi 6-18g Tonifies the Spleen and Kidneys and astringes Jing.
Endoconcha Sepiae Hai Piao Xiao 6-12g Restrains, holds in and stops bleeding, secures Jing and stops discharge.
Rx. Rubiae Qian Cao Gen 6-16g Cools the Blood, stops bleeding, invigorates the Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.
With Hai Piao Xiao, for excessive uterine bleeding.
Carbonized Rx. Angelica Sinensis Dang Gui Tan 3-15g Stops bleeding while reducing Blood Stasis.
Flos Celosiae Ji Guan Hua 4.5-15g Restrains and holds to stop bleeding and vaginal discharge, clears Heat, cools the Blood, binds the Intestines, stops bleeding and consolidates Jing.
