CONTRAINDICATIONS

Contraindicated for those with uterine bleeding due to Blood Stasis.
Contraindicated for those with early stages of dysenteric disorders with Exterior signs.
Contraindicated for those with Damp-Heat.

This herb can be used as a stand-alone herb in powder form dissolved in wine for incessant menstruation.
This herb treats bleeding hemorrhoids, red and white dysentery, hematemesis, hemoptysis, Blood Lin, metrorrhagia and red and white vaginal discharge.
The flowers can be decocted and used as a wash for vaginal pruritis and discharge.
Charred Flos Celosiae Ji Guan Hua Tan is less Cool but better able to astringe bleeding and vaginal discharge.
This herb has been shown to eliminate trichomonas vaginitis in ten minutes.
It has also been shown to kill parasites.
