LOCATION:

  • 1.5 cun lateral to the midline at the level of the fourth posterior sacral foramen UB-34 Bailiao.

NEEDLING:

  • Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
  • Straight insertion 1 to 2 cun. Sensation: local distention and numbness extending to the buttocks.
  • Puncture perpendicularly 0.8 to 1.2 cun.
