- With the cupped in the palm in a half fist, this point can be found in front of the tip of the middle finger between the second and third metacarpal bones.
- With the palm of the hand facing upward, this point is located on the radial side of the third metacarpal bone, proximal to metacarpalphalangeal joint.
- At the center of the palm, between the second and third metacarpal bones, but close to the latter, and in the part touching the tip of the middle finger when a fist is made.
- Between the second and third metacarpal bones, proximal to the metacarpalphalangeal joint , in a depression on the radial side of the third metacarpal bone.
Note: The point may be located at the place where the tip of the middle finger lands when a fist is made.
- Straight insertion, about 0.5 cun causing local distention and pain.
- Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
