- Both Liu Huang and Realgar Xiong Huang resolve toxicity and kill parasites and are used in treating scabies, tinea and rashes. Liu Huang is better against tinea and itching lesions, its hot nature makes it unsuitable for treating Yang lesions. Xiong Huang is more effective at resolving toxins and treating abscesses and sores.
- This herb can be used individually topically for scabies, herpetic lesions, sores and fungal infections.
