Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 3-12g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, drains Damp-Heat, cools the Blood and relieves toxicity.
With Mu Dan Pi, resolves Qi Level Stagnation leading to Heat and Heat in the Blood.
With Chai Hu, Bai Shao and Mu Dan Pi, for irritability and a short temper.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 6-12g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and clears Liver Fire.
With Zhi Zi, Chai Hu and Bai Shao, for Fire from constraint leading to Liver Fire or Liver Yang Rising.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 3-12g Spreads Liver Qi and relieves Stagnation.
With Bai Shao, Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong, harmonizes the Blood.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Blood Deficiency with Liver Qi Stagnation and vertigo, dizziness, thoracic and costal pain, and menstrual irregularity due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rz. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, disperses Cold and stops pain due to Blood Stasis.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood.
With Chuan Xiong, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 5-30g Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, softens the Liver, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
Poria Fu Ling 9-18g Promotes urination and leaches out Dampness.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-10g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, expels Wind and alleviates pain.
Fr. Arctii Niu Bang zi 3-12g Disperses Wind-Heat and relieves toxicity.
With Gan Cao, strongly clears the throat and Lungs to treat Wind-Heat Attacks the Lungs or Fire toxin flaring upwards.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
