Hb. Schizonepetae Jing Jie 9g Releases the exterior and expels Wind.
With Fang Feng, for initial-stage boils.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 9g Releases the exterior and expels External Wind.
Stir-fried Fr. Arctii Niu Bang Zi 9g Disperses Wind-Heat and relieves toxicity.
With Gan Cai, strongly clears the throat and Lungs to treat Wind-Heat Attacks the Lungs or Fire toxin flaring upwards.
With Lian Qiao, unblocks and drains Heat toxin, disperses clumps and swellings for sore, swollen throat, swellings like mumps, boils and other Heat toxin lesions and ulcerations and abscesses of the tongue and mouth.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 9-15g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and vents and disperses External Wind-Heat.
With Lian Qiao, for various Heat disorders.
With Lian Qiao and Huang Qin, for unremitting high fever.
With Lian Qiao and Niu Bang Zi, for Wei Stage and Qi Stage Heat.
With Gan Cao, for toxic swellings and sores.
With Huang Qin, for suppurating boils that have not ulcerated, or have ulcerated but are not discharging pus.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 3-9g Regulates Qi, adjusts the Middle, relieves the diaphragm, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
Rx. Trichosanthis Tian Hua Fen 9g Relieves toxicity, expels pus and reduces swelling.
With Jin Yin Hua and Zao Jiao Zi, reduces swelling and pus.
With Lian Qiao, Pu Gong Ying and Jin Yin Hua, for boils and carbuncles.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 9-12g Drains Fire, detoxifies, clears Heat and calms the fetus.
With Chai Hu, for Heat in the Shao Yang with alternating chills and fever and nausea.
Hb. Taraxaci Pu Gong Ying 9-30g Reduces abscesses, dissipates nodules, relieves Fire toxicity and promotes lactation.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 9-15g Clears Heat, especially in the Upper Jiao,relieves toxicity, reduces abscesses and dissipates clumps.
With Jin Yin Hua, for Initial stage Wind-Heat.
Spina Gleditsiae Zao Jiao Ci 6-9g Draws out toxicity, discharges pus, expels Wind, invigorates the Blood and reduces swelling.
With Jin Yin Hua, for initial stages of abscesses and boils.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 9g Disperses Wind-Heat and resolves Phlegm and congestion.
With Huang Qin, for Heat in the Womb with fever, chills and delirium.

Rz. Cyperi Xiang Fu 9g Spreads, regulates Liver Qi, regulates menstruation and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu, for Qi Stagnation and menstrual irregularity.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3-6g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Pu Gong Ying, for internally or externally for abscesses or other toxic swellings.
With Jin Yin Hua, Pu Gong Ying and Lian Qiao, for Yang sores marked by redness, swelling and pain.
