POINT: SP-3 (SPLEEN-3)

NAME: TAIBAI

English:	Supreme White
Also Known As:	Great White Venus Most White Greater White

LOCATION:

In the depression, located by sliding the fingertip proximally over the side of the ball of the foot.
Proximal and inferior to the first metatarsal joint, in the depression of the junction of the red and white skin.
On the posterior, inferior aspect of the head of the first metatarsal bone.

NEEDLING:

Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Straight insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
