- In the nasolabial groove, at the level of the midpoint of the lateral border of the ala nasi.
- 0.5 cun lateral to the nostril, in the nasolabial sulcus.
- Puncture obliquely or subcutaneously 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
- Transverse insertion medio-superiorly 0.3 to 0.5 cun or join BitongM-HN-14 at the highest point of the nasolabial groove.
- For roundworms in the bile duct: transverse insertion joined to ST-2 Sibai, 0.5 to 1 cun.
- For diseases of the nose: join to M-HN-14 Bitong, 0.5 to 0.8 cun. Sensation: local distention and soreness, sometimes extending throughout the nose and lachrymation.
