NAME: YINDU

English: Yin Metropolis
Also Known As: Yin's Metropolis

LOCATION:

  • 0.5 cun lateral to REN-12 Zhongwan, on the abdomen.
  • On the upper abdomen, 4 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the midline, REN-12 Zhongwan.

NEEDLING:

  • Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun.
  • Perpendicular insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
  • Caution: deep needling may puncture the peritoneal cavity.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.

  • Meeting point with the Chong channel
