- At the medial end of the popliteal crease, between the semitendinosus and semimembranosis tendons. Locate and needle with the knee slightly bent.
- On the medial aspect of the back of the knee, between the semitendinosus muscle and the lower end of the semimembranosis muscle.
- With the knee flexed, this point is located on the medial side of the popliteal fossa, level with UB-40 Weizhong, between the tendons of the semitendinosus and and semimembranosis muscles.
- Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.
- Straight insertion, 1 to 2 cun.
- Puncture perpendicularly 0.8 to 1cun.
- Moxibustion is applicable.
