They both enter the Spleen and Kidneys to tonify those organs and treat chronic diarrhea and spermatorrhea. Lian Zi nourishes the Heart, reestablishes communication between the Heart and Kidneys and treats incessant uterine bleeding.
- Dry-fried Euryales Seeds Chao Qian Shi are warming and thus able to tonify the Spleen and Kidneys and to stabilize and conserve. They are used to treat spermatorrhea due to failure of the Jing Gate
- Bran-fried Euryale Seeds Fu Chao Qian Shi are warm and better to tonify and stabilize especially for chronic diarrhea due to Spleen Deficiency.
