- This can be used as a stand-alone for snakebite and burns, usually as a juice pressed from the fresh herb.
- This is very commonly used in prescriptions to treat acute, persistent and active forms of hepatitis.
- This herb inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
- It is effective in lowering Liver enzymes.
- This herb also treats low-grade Yin Deficiency fevers.
- The juice extracted from the fresh leaves treats lesions caused by toxic insect stings or by scalding.
