- Bei Xie and Rz. Smilacis Glabrae Tu Fu Ling both dispel Dampness and are used for milky Lin, toxic Damp-Heat sores and Wind-Damp sores. Bei Xie is better at separating the pure from the turbid (treating milky Lin and vaginal discharge) while Tu Fu Ling is better for resolving toxicity (treating toxic sores). It is well known for its ability to treat syphilitic lesions. It also eliminates mercury from the body.
