- The juice from the stem and leaf treat all kinds of intestinal disorders.
- Both Bai Hua She She Cao and Hb. Scutellariae Barbatae Ban Zhi Lian have strong cooling and toxin relieving actions and are used in the treatment of various types of cancers, especially those of the gastrointestinal tract. Bai Hua She She Cao is bitter, sweet and stronger at unblocking Lin Syndrome, while Ban Zhi Lian is only slightly bitter and acrid to transform Stagnation and break up Blood Stasis and reduce swelling. Its effect on urination is limited to facilitating the smooth passage of urine.
