Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 17g Clears Qi Stage Heat and drains Fire from the Lungs and Stomach, nourishes Yin and moistens Dryness.
Rx. Asteris Zi Wan 17g Relieves coughs and expels Phlegm.
With Wu Wei Zi, for productive cough, wheezing, and spontaneous sweating.
With Zhi Mu, Chuan Bei Mu and E Jiao, for chronic cough due to Lung Deficiency with Blood streaked sputum.
With Zhi Mu, Chuan Bei Mu, Jie Geng and E Jiao, for chronic cough due to Lung Heat and Yin Deficiency.
Bul. Fritillariae Cirrhosae Chuan Bei Mu 16g Clears Heat, transforms Phlegm, stops cough, nourishes and moistens the Lungs and dissipates nodules.
With Zhi Mu, for cough with scanty, difficult to expectorate sputum due to Yin Deficiency Fire burning the Lungs.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 7g Opens the Lungs, spreads Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, expels pus and opens and raises Lung Qi, directing the effects of other herbs to the upper body.
With Gan Cao, for Lung abscess with expectoration of pus and pain in the chest and flanks.
Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 7g Tonifies Lung Qi, generates Body Fluids and stops thirst.
Poria Fu Ling 7g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, strengthens the Spleen and transforms Phlegm.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 7g Astringes leakage of Lung Qi, astringes sweat, generates fluids and stops cough.
Colla Corii Asini E Jiao 16g Nourishes and moistens Yin.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 6g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Jie Geng, for pain and swelling of the throat.
