Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 15-30g Clears Heat and resolves Fire toxicity.
With Pu Gong Ying, Ye Ju Hua and Zi Hua Di Ding, for sores, lesions carbuncles, ulceration of the skin and furuncles.
With Huang Qin, for suppurating boils that have not ulcerated, or have ulcerated but are not discharging pus.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 10-30g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies, cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
Flos Chrysanthemi Indici Ye Ju Hua 15-30g Drains Fire and resolves toxicity.
Hb. Dendrobii Shi Hu 15-30g Nourishes Yin, clears Heat, generates fluids, enriches Kidney Yin,d reduces Deficiency Heat, strengthens the tendons and bones and strengthens the low back.
Hb. Begoniae Fimbristipulatae Hong Tian Kui 15-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, invigorates the Blood, breaks up Blood Stasis and resolves toxicity.
With Jin Yin Hua, Ye Ju Hua and Pu Gong Ying, for boils and other sores.
Hb. Taraxaci Pu Gong Ying 15-30g Reduces abscesses, dissipates nodules, relieves Fire toxicity and clears Heat in the Blood.
With Jin Yin Hua and Zi Hua Di Ding, for all hot, painful, hard, and deep-rooted boils.
With Jin Yin Hua and Ye Ju Hua, for sores, lesions and ulcerations of the skin.
Hb. cum Rx. Violae Zi Hua Di Ding 15-30g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and clears hot sores.
With Ye Ju Hua, for pustules on the fingertips (snakehead furuncles), red thread furuncles (lymphangitis), carbuncles and other red swellings.
With Pu Gong Ying, for breast abscesses, furuncles, boils and carbuncles.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 15-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, softens hardness, dissipates nodules, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 15-30g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, clears Heat, cools the Blood and reduces swelling from sores and abscesses.
Caulis Spatholobi Ji Xue Teng 15-30g Invigorates and tonifies the Blood, activates the channels and relaxes the sinews.
Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 12-30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, promotes the discharge of pus, generates flesh, expels toxins and relieves numbness and pain.
