Agkistrodon Bai Hua She 1.5-3g Dispels Wind-Dampness, strongly unblocks the channels and dispels Wind from the skin.
Scorpio Quan Xie 1.5g Extinguishes Wind, attacks and relieves Fire toxins, dissipates nodules, unblocks collaterals and stops pain.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 9g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and Blood and generates fluids.
With Mu Dan Pi and Chi Shao, for purpura or bleeding with maculae and blotches on the skin.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 9g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, activates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Liver Fire, drains pus and reduces swelling.
With Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao Cools the Blood and disperses Stasis, for Ying Stage Heat with epistaxis, hemoptysis, hemafecia, hematuria, menorrhagia and skin rashes. and irregular menstruation due to Heat and obstruction from Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 9g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, activates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, eliminates pain and clears Liver Fire.
With Mu Dan Pi, for Blood Stasis disorders (amenorrhea, menstrual pain, traumatic injury).

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Lesions appear on lateral surfaces of the four limbs
  • May appear on trunk and scalp
  • Pink or red papules with distinct borders
  • Plaques with distinct borders
  • Many layers of dry, silvery scales
  • If scraped, a semi-transparent membrane may be formed
  • Petechiae hemorrhage may develop
  • Lesions may vary in size from dots to coins
  • Lesions may vary in shape from circular to geographic
  • Scalp lesions will be dark red with grayish white scales
  • Hair may grow in bundles from scalp lesions
  • Hair will not fall out from scalp lesions
  • Lesions on finger and toe nails will be mottled like a thimble. Itching is constant
  • Lesions may appear as macula and scab
