Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 10g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin and stops coughing.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 12g Astringes leakage of Lung Qi, stops coughing, tonifies the Kidneys, astringes Jing, astringes sweat and generates fluids.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
With Mu Dan Pi, for Kidney Yin Deficiency with steaming bones.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 15g Clears Heat, cools, activates and harmonizes the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Deficiency Fire, drains pus and reduces swelling.
With Sheng Di Huang, for a residual Warm External pathogen which has injured the Yin.
Fr. Corni Shan Zhu Yu 10g Stabilizes the Kidneys, astringes Jing and Body Fluids, stops excessive sweating, tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin and strengthens Kidney Yang.
With Wu Wei Zi, for abnormal sweating, palpitations and shortness of breath due to Yin and Yang Deficiency of the Liver and Kidneys.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 10g Clears Heat, drains Fire from the Lungs, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness generates Fluids, clears Deficiency Fire and quenches thirst.
With Tian Hua Fen and Mai Men Dong, for thirst and irritability due to Lung and Stomach Dryness.
Bul. Fritillariae Cirrhosae Chuan Bei Mu 10g Clears Heat, transforms Phlegm, stops coughing, nourishes and moistens the Lungs, clears Heat, dissipates nodules and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Zhi Mu, clears Qi and nourishes Yin for coughing with scanty, difficult to expectorate sputum due to Yin Deficiency Fire burning the Lungs.
Rx. Trichosanthis Tian Hua Fen 15g Drains Heat, generates Fluids, clears and drains Lung Heat, transforms Phlegm, moistens Lung Dryness, relieves toxicity, expels pus, reduces swelling and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
