Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 6-14g Tonifies Lungs Qi, nourishes the Blood and promotes the generation of Body Fluids.
With Huang Qi, Zi Wan and Sang Bai Pi, for coughing due to Deficiency and exhaustion of Lung Qi.
With Wu Wei Zi and Mai Men Dong, for injury to Qi and fluids with shortness of breath and thirst.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6-15g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin and stops coughing.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 6-9g Astringes leakage of Lung Qi, stops coughing, tonifies Qi, quiets the Spirit and calms and contains Heart Qi.
With Dang Shen and Mai Men Dong, for exhaustion of Qi and Yin with shortness of breath, cough, and thirst and spontaneous nightsweats with Qi Deficiency.
With Huang Qi, for Yang Deficiency with spontaneous sweat.
Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-30g Tonifies Wei Qi, stabilizes the Exterior, tonifies the Lungs, promotes the discharge of pus, generates flesh, expels toxins and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Dang Shen, for Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia, fatigue, tired extremities and spontaneous sweating.
With Mai Men Dong and Wu Wei Zi, for night sweats.
Rx. Asteris Zi Wan 3-10g Relieves coughs, expels Phlegm and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Wu Wei Zi, for productive coughing, wheezing and spontaneous sweating.
Cx. Mori Sang Bai Pi 6-18g Drains Heat from the Lungs, stops coughing, calms wheezing and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 9-30g Nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin and arrests coughing and wheezing.
