Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 9g Spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation, disperses Wind-Heat and resolves Phlegm and congestion.
With Huang Qin, restores the normal functioning of the Liver and Gallbladder.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 6g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire, resolves Fire toxicity, stops bleeding and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Ginger-prepared Rz. Pinelliae Jiang Ban Xia 12g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Qi, alleviates nausea and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Huang Lian, for epigastric distention and indigestion due to a simultaneous invasion of Hot and Cold pathogenic influences into the Stomach.
With Huang Lian and Gua Lou, for Phlegm-Heat clumping in the chest and epigastrium with a stifling, distended sensation in the epigastrium that is aggravated by pressure, coughing of viscous, yellow sputum, a greasy, yellow tongue coat and a slippery, rapid pulse.
With Huang Qin, for Phlegm-Heat induced Rebellious Qi with cough, nausea, and vomiting.
With Gua Lou, for focal distention in the chest and diaphragm due to clumping of Phlegm and Heat leading to Qi Stagnation.
Fr. Trichosanthis Gua Lou 18g Clears Lung Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm, regulates Qi, reduces abscesses, dissipates nodules and eliminates pus.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 6g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Huang Lian, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, a dry mouth, a parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 12g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, clears Heat, cools the Blood, reduces swelling from sores and abscesses and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Rz. Curcumae E Zhu 3g Invigorates Blood circulation, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi, dissolves accumulations, alleviates pain and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 9g Invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 30g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity, clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
