Haematitum Dai Zhe Shi 15g Calms the Liver, anchors Floating Yang and, clears Liver Fire, strongly descends rebellious Qi, cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
With Sheng Di Huang and Bai Shao, for hematemesis and epistaxis.
Poria Fu Ling 12g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, strengthens the Spleen, harmonizes the Middle Jiao and transforms Phlegm.
With Ze Xie, facilitates the removal of water and leaches out Dampness to treat stagnant water and Dampness leading to edema, jaundice, diarrhea, Milky Lin, and scanty, difficult urination with abdominal distention.
With Gan Cao, for Spleen and Heart Deficiencies causing facial edema, palpitations, and shortness of breath.
Rx. Oryzae Glutinosae Nuo Dao Gen 12g Stops sweat due to Deficiency and reduces low-grade fevers.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Yin Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 9g Nourishes Blood, astringes Yin, adjusts the Ying and Wei, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind, softens the Liver and alleviates pain.
With Gan Cao, regulates the relationship between the Liver and Spleen, nourishes the sinews and treats abdominal pain due to disharmony between the Liver and Stomach.
Rz. Alismatis Ze Xie 9g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness and drains Kidney Fire.
Rx. Asteris Zi Wan 6g Relieves coughs and expels Phlegm.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 4.5g Clears Heat,cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Periostracum Cicadae Chan Tui 3g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, stops spasms and extinguishes Liver Wind.
Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli Ji Nei Jin 3g Strongly reduces Food Stagnation, improves the Spleen’s transportive function, astringes Jing and urine and stops enuresis.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 3g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire, resolves Fire toxicity and stops bleeding.
With Sheng Di Huang, for insomnia and delirium due to unremitting Heat injuring the Ying level.
