With Mu Li and Long Gu, for irritability and insomnia due to floating Yang in the Upper Jiao and injured Yin in the Lower Jiao due to Heart Yang Deficiency.

Fossilia Ossis Mastodi	Long Gu	6-30g	*Settles and calms the Shen, calms the Liver and anchors and preserves floating Yang.*
Concha Ostreae	Mu Li	6-30g	*Heavily settles and calms the Shen, benefits Yin* and anchors Floating Yang.** With Zhi Gan Cao and Gui Zhi, for restlessness, irritability, palpitations and spontaneous sweating due to Floating Yang.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

This formula was originally used for irritability caused by improper use of the warm-needle acupuncture that scorched the Heart Yin and injured the Heart Yang.

For severe Deficiency of Heart Yang with sweating, cold limbs and a feeble and large or slow and weak pulse:		For palpitations:
