Rz. Pinelliae Preparatum Zhi Ban Xia 6-12g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Qi, stops vomiting and harmonizes the Stomach.
With Chen Pi, for epigastric and abdominal distention or pain due to disharmony of the Stomach Qi and productive cough and a stifling sensation in the chest due to Phlegm-Damp Obstruction or Spleen Qi Deficiency.
With Fu Ling, expels Phlegm and stops nausea and vomiting, hiccups, coughs with clear, profuse Phlegm and loose and watery stools, prevents turbid Phlegm and Dampness from disturbing the Heart with dizziness, palpitations and insomnia and treats Phlegm, thin mucus and turbid Dampness.
With Sheng Jiang, for vomiting due to Cold, thin mucus.
With Ren Shen, for vomiting due to Stomach Deficiency.
With Chen Pi, Fu Ling and Gan Cao, comprises Er Chen Tang.
Exocarpium Citri Reticulatae Rubrum Ju Hong 6g Regulates Qi, dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Qi, harmonizes the Middle and regulates the Stomach to treat vomiting, belching and Phlegm-Damp coughs.
With Sheng Jiang, for vomiting and hiccups due to Disharmony of Stomach Qi and Cold-Dampness Obstructing the Middle with nausea and hiccup.
With Zhi Ban Xia, for a stifling sensation in the chest and cough with excessive white, viscous sputum due to Phlegm-Damp Obstruction.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Fu Ling, for cough due to accumulation of Dampness and Phlegm.
With Sheng Jiang, Zhu Ru and Zhi Ban Xia, for nausea and vomiting due to rebellious Stomach Qi.

Poria Fu Ling 6-15g Strengthens the Spleen, drains Dampness, harmonizes the Middle Jiao and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Ban Xia, expels Phlegm and stops nausea and vomiting.
With Zhi Ban Xia, Chen Pi and Sheng Jiang, for congested Fluids in the Stomach manifesting as nausea and vomiting.
Fr. Aurantii Immaturus Zhi Shi 6-10g Regulates and descends Qi, transforms Phlegm and reduces distention.
With Zhu Ru, for Phlegm-Heat obstructing the flow of Qi with focal distention in the chest and epigastrium, hiccup, dry retching, nausea and acid regurgitation and palpitations, irritability, insomnia and emotional problems due to Gallbladder Stagnation with Phlegm Disturbing the Heart.
With Zhu Ru and Dan Nan Xing, strongly disperses and descends stagnant Qi, clears Heat, expels accumulations, dries Dampness and resolves Wind-Phlegm in the channels.
With Ju Hong, strengthens the Middle Jiao.
Caulis Bambusae In Taeniam Zhu Ru 2.1g Clears Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm and stops vomiting.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Zhi Shi, for insomnia, palpitations and irritability due to Phlegm Heat leading to Disharmony between the Gallbladder and Stomach with a stifling sensation in the chest and restlessness.
With Chen Pi, Sheng Jiang and Ren Shen, for vomiting or hiccup due to Stomach Deficiency Heat.
With Zhi Ban Xia, Chen Pi, Zhi Shi and Fu Ling, for Gallbladder Fire with Phlegm.
Rz. Arisaematis Preparatum Zhi Tian Nan Xing 7.5-12g Dries Dampness and expels Phlegm.
With Zhi Ban Xia, Chen Pi and Zhi Shi , for Phlegm-Dampness Obstruction that will not dissipate with fainting from Wind-stroke, cough with copious sputum, a cold upper back, a stifling sensation in the chest and a thick, gummy nasal discharge.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Shi Chang Pu, for Phlegm turbidity deranging the orifices of the head and veiling them leading to seizures and convulsions.
(Arisaema cum Bile) (Dan Nan Xing) (6.6g) (Clears and transforms Phlegm-Heat, extinguishes Wind and stops tremors - used in some versions instead of Zhi Tian Nan Xing.)
Rz. Acori Tatarinowii Shi Chang Pu 3-12g Harmonizes the Middle Jiao, aromatically opens the Orifices, vaporizes Phlegm, disperses Wind, removes filth and calms the Shen.
With Ren Shen and Fu Ling, for forgetfulness and dulled senses.
Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 3g Supports Qi, strengthens the Spleen, tonifies the Heart and Lungs and calms the Shen.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5g Tonifies the Spleen and augments Qi, resolves Phlegm and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Ren Shen, relieves palpitations and anxiety.
Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 1.5g Disperses Cold, warms the Middle, stops vomiting and detoxifies other herbs.
With Da Zao, alleviates epigastric pain, nausea, and vomiting by strengthening the Spleen, protects the Stomach Qi and reduces irritation of the gastrointestinal. tract by other herbs and prevents Phlegm accumulation.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Zhu Ru, for vomiting.
With Zhu Ru , for vomiting due to Heat in patients with Stomach Qi Deficiency.
With Zhi Tian Nan Xing and Zhi Ban Xia, for detoxification.
Fr. Zizyphi Jujube Da Zao 1.5g Tonifies Qi, protects the Stomach and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
