Clinical Manifestations

- Latency period: 2-3 months
- Affected Areas: Genital warts are commonly found
at the boundaries of the skin and mucous membranes where
it is damp and moist.
Males: Mostly on the penile shaft,
the ditch below the head of the penis,
the glans penis, at the urethral opening,
etc.
Females: Mostly
on the labia majora and
minora, the area where
the labia are tied together,
the cervix, the vaginal
orifice, on the perineum,
and surrounding the anus.

Genital
warts may
occur singly,
scattered
about,
or collected
in a cluster.
Grayish white or light red in color
The tumorous hyperplasia may be papilliform, cauliflower
shaped, or coxcomb shaped
The main body of the wart may be large but the base may
be narrow when seen from the outside
Its surface may be damp and moist and is soft and pliable
Because genital warts typically are found in secret places
where they are constantly soaked, their form and color
are filthy and dirty.
