- 4 cun lateral to REN-4 Guanyuan, on the lower abdomen.
- Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun. Sensation: distention and soreness in the lower abdomen and sometimes a lifting sensation in the uterus.
- Perpendicular insertion 0.8 to 1.2 cun.
For prolapsed uterus: Direct the needle from Tituo towards REN-2 Qugu through the muscular layer. Then rotate the needle until it wraps the muscle fibers, firmly pull it upwards and outwards and tape it to the skin in this raised position for 20-30 minutes.
- Raises and regulates Qi.
