  • Eight points (four on each hand) located in the small depression just behind and between the metacarpophalangeal joints on the back of the hand.

NEEDLING:

  • Straight insertion, 0.3 to 0.5 cun, causing local distention and soreness, or an electric-numb sensation extending toward the fingertips.
