NAME: ZUWULI

English: Leg Five Miles
Also Known As: Five Measures on the Foot

LOCATION:

  • On the medial aspect of the thigh, 1 cun below LIV-11 Yinlian.
  • Three cun inferior to ST-30 Qichong, on the anterior border of the m. abductor longus.
  • Three cun directly below ST-30 Qichong, at the proximal end of the thigh, below the pubic tubercle, on the lateral border of the m. abductus longus.

NEEDLING:

  • Straight insertion, 1-1.5 cun.
  • Perpendicular or oblique insertion, 0.5 to 1.5 cun.
