LOCATION:

  • With the thumb extended, this point can be found in the center of the hollow formed between the extensor policis longus and extensor policis brevis.
  • On the radial side of the wrist, in the center of the hollow formed by the extensor policis longus and extensor policis brevis (anatomical snuffbox).

NEEDLING:

  • Straight insertion 0.3 to 1 cun.
  • Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
  • Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
