POINT: GB-12 (GALL BLADDER-12)

NAME: WANGU

English:	Mastoid Process
Also Known As:	Whole Bone Final Bone Completed Bone Finished Bone

LOCATION:

In the depression just posterior and inferior to the mastoid process.
Note: place a finger on the prominence of the mastoid process then slide it posteriorly into the depression.
At the posterior border of the mastoid process, 0.7 cun below GB-11 Qiaoyin, and level with GB-16 Fengfu.

NEEDLING:

Oblique inferior insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Puncture obliquely 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Slanted insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.

Withering and contraction of the muscles around the mouth
