- this herb has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
- This herb is said to cure abdominal masses in children and other chronic and uterine masses.
- The herb Hb. Polygoni Orientalis Hong Cao, is said to quench thirst, relieve fever, improve vision and promote the flow of Qi.
- For abdominal masses, stew to a paste one bowl of the fruit or flower of this herb into a paste and apply to the mass or mix with wine for oral administration. Greasy food is forbidden while taking this herb.
