NOTES

  1. This herb inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
  2. It is said to cure dizziness and promote Qi and muscles.
  3. for scrofula, mix the juice with wine and apply the residue to the lesion.
  4. This herb is inferior to Rx. Codonopsis Pilosulae Dang Shen in promoting Qi, but superior in promoting moisture.
  5. It is inferior to Rx. Adenophorae Nan Sha Shen in nourishing the Stomach to invigorate Yin, but superior in nourishing Yin and promoting lactation.
