NOTES

  1. This herb has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
  2. The leaves and seeds of this herb are crushed and used topically to treat malignant boils and carbuncles with swelling and pain but without ulceration. Be careful to not cause flesh decay.
  3. For malaria, crush a handful of the plant and apply to the arm.
  4. To dispel Cold Wind, grind this herb and Rz. Zingiberis Gan Jiang  into a powder and apply to the abdomen.
  5. This herb is said to stimulate the skin, to treat scrofula, arthritis, tuberculosis of the joints and bone, bronchial gasping and all types of boils and carbuncles.
