- Signs of toxicity are dizziness, headache, dry mouth, indigestion, irritability, and apprehension.
- The key to the use of this herb is atony.
- Deficiency conditions of the musculoskeletal, nervous and digestive systems are appropriate indicators for use.
- This herb inhibits the activity of leukemia cells.
- For pharyngitis, this herb may be ground with Rx. Aucklandiae Mu Xiang and Rx. Sophorae Tonkinensis Shan Dou Gen and blown into the throat.
- This herb is said to be violently toxic to dogs, birds and humans.
- This herb was found to be effective in treating esophageal cancer.
- This herb must be processed to reduce its toxicity.
- Sucking the fruit is said to cure exogenous febrile disease, pharyngitis and abdominal mass.
