- Both Hai Feng Teng and Caulis Trachelospermi Luo Shi Teng dispel Wind and promote the flow of Qi in the collaterals and are often used to treat restricted joint movement due to Wind-Dampness, cramps and spasms. Hai Feng Teng is slightly warm and a better choice when these disorders are not associated with Heat. Luo Shi Teng is cooling and preferred when Heat is a factor. It also cools the Blood and reduces swellings and is used for swollen, toxic sores and trauma leading to swelling and hematoma.
