Fr. Gardeniae	*Zhi Zi*	9-15g	Drains Damp-Heat, clears Heat, reduces Fire and eliminates irritability in the San Jiao.
Cx. Phellodendri	*Huang Bai*	6g	Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao. With Zhi Zi. eliminates pathogenic Dampness from the Liver/Gallbladder for Yang type jaundice with noticeable fever, markedly yellow/orange skin and eyes, thirst and a red tongue with a yellow coat.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata	*Zhi Gan Cao*	3g	Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.

Pain and fullness in ribs on both sides
Maybe pain in the right hypochondrium
Bitter taste in mouth
Vomiting sour and bitter fluids
Anorexia

Maybe alternating chills and fever
Concentrated, dark urine
Abdominal distention
Constipation
Women:
Yellow vaginal discharge with foul smell
Pruritis vulvae
Men:
Pain, swelling and burning sensations of testicles
