Aspongopus Jiu Xiang Chong 3-9g Regulates Qi, soothes the Liver and stops pain.
Rx. Curcumae Yu Jin 3-15g Invigorates Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi flow, alleviates pain, clears Heat and Cools the Blood.
Hb. Artemisiae Scopariae Yin Chen Hao 9-30g Clears Damp-Heat from the Liver and Gallbladder and relieves jaundice.

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Palpitations
  • Stabbing pain in the anterior region over heart
  • Suffocating sensation in chest
  • Maybe drawing pain down internal aspect of arm (especially left arm)
  • Pain (in chest and/or arm) tends to be severe and intermittent
  • In severe cases:
    Cold limbs
    Cyanosis of lips and nails
  • T: Dark red with purple spots or Purple body
  • C: Little
  • P: Minute (scarcely perceptible) and thready or Knotted
