Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 15g Tonifies Blood, invigorates and harmonizes Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
Rx. Lithospermi Zi Cao 10g Clears Heat. cools the Blood, relieves Fire toxins, encourages rashes and clears Damp-Heat from the skin.
Sesame Oil   1 liter  
Yellow Wax   50g

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Small coin sized red or pale red or moist pale red or dark or hyper pigmented lesions located on the scalp, body, extremities, and other areas that increase rapidly
  • There are covered scales which are tightly covered or heaped up and are easily shed when scratched or thick hard and adherent
  • Removing the scale reveals a light pink shining membrane
  • Beneath the membrane are petechiae
  • Longstanding lesions may overlap
  • Lesions may be painful or fissured
  • Itching may be intense

NOTES

  • Put herbs into a pot with 5000 ml vegetable oil for 2 hours. Bake until yellow. Apply topically 1-2 times per day.
