Fr. Gardenia | Zhi Zi | 3-12g | Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, drains Damp-Heat, relieves toxicity and cools and activates the Blood. |
Rx. Glycyrrhizae | Gan Cao | 3-30g | Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, resolves Phlegm, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs. |
Natrii Sulfas | Mang Xiao | 4-18g | Purges accumulations, guides out
Stagnation, softens hardness, moistens Dryness, clears
Heat and drains Fire. With Da Huang, for constipation due to Heat in the Stomach and Intestines. With Da Huang and Gan Cao, for moderate constipation due to accumulation of Excess Heat. |
