Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 6g Spreads Liver Qi and relieves Stagnation.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Blood Deficiency with Liver Qi Stagnation and vertigo, dizziness and thoracic and costal pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
With Qing Pi, for intercostal pain due to Qi obstruction in the Liver channel.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Viride Qing Pi 9g Spreads Liver Qi, breaks up Stagnant Qi, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Chai Hu, restores the Qi circulation between the Upper and Lower Jiaos to treat long-term Qi Stagnation moving to Blood Stasis with fixed pain and occasional palpable lumps.
Spica Prunellae Xia Ku Cao 15g Clears Liver Fire, clears Hot Phlegm, dissipates nodules and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 15g Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, softens the Liver, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu, for flank pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 20g Clears Heat,d resolves Fire toxicity, clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Dang Gui, reduces obstruction and toxicity for swollen, painful sores and necrosis of surrounding tissue.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 12g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, dispels Cold, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood.
With Chai Hu and Bai Shao, for dysmenorrhea from Liver Qi Stagnation and Blood Deficiency.
