With Xuan Shen, for Kidney Yin Deficiency with Fire Blazing with soreness and swelling in the throat, dry mouth and a parched tongue.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 12g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and drains Fire.
Cx. Lycii Gou Qi Zi 12g Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney Blood and Yin.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 6g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and clears Liver Fire.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Kidney Yin Deficiency with steaming bones.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 12g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat and soothes irritability.
Rz. Polygonati Odorati Yu Zhu 12g Nourishes Yin and moistens Dryness.
With Sheng Di Huang, resolves cysts.
Rx. Achyranthis Bidentatae Niu Xi 9g Invigorates the Blood, expels Blood Stasis, nourishes the Liver and Kidney Yin and descends Blood and Fire.
With Sheng Di Huang, powerfully clears Deficiency Fire Blazing Upward with pain and swelling of the gums, epistaxis, hematemesis and other hemorrhage in the upper body.
Rx. Rubiae Qian Cao Gen 12g Cools the Blood, stops bleeding, invigorates the Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.
With Dan Shen, for Blood Heat causing amenorrhea.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 12g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, drains Damp-Heat, reduces swelling and activates the Blood.
With Mu Dan Pi, for irregular menstruation, headache, red eyes, and thirst due to Liver Qi Heat from Stagnation and dysmenorrhea, headache, dry, scratchy eyes and intercostal pain due to Liver Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Curcumae Yu Jin 9g Invigorates Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi flow, clears Heat, cools the Blood and alleviates pain.
