 With Huang Qin, drains Heat from the Lungs, and stops cough and wheezing.
Cx> Lycii Di Gu Pi 10g Cools the Blood, drains Yin Deficiency Fire, clears and drains Heat in the Lung, clears Heat, cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
With Sang Bai Pi, for Lung Heat cough or wheezing.
With Huang Qin, for Blood Deficiency, Steaming Bone Disorder, or other recurrent afternoon fevers.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 10g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies and calms ascending Liver Yang.
With Zhi Zi, powerfully clears and drains lurking Heat from the Lungs with fever, fullness in the chest, cough with yellow sputum and epistaxis or hematemesis.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 10g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability and resolves Dampness.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 10g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and clears Liver Fire.
Hb. Inulae Xuan Fu Hua 10g Resolves Phlegm Stagnation in the Lungs.
Fol. Eriobotryae Pi Pa Ye 10g Transforms Phlegm, clears Lung Heat and descends Lung Qi.
Rx. Curcumae Yu Jin 10g Invigorates Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi flow, clears Heat and cools the Blood.
With Zhi Ke, for Liver Qi Stagnation with a stifling sensation in the chest and fullness in the epigastrium and abdomen with Heat signs.
Fr. Aurantii Zhi Ke 10g Promotes the movement of Qi and reduces distention and pressure.
Indigo Naturalis Qing Dai 10g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity, cools the Blood, resolves Fire toxicity, disperses Stagnation, Clears Liver Fire and drains Lung Heat.
With Ge Qiao, for Liver Fire attacking the Lungs with cough, chest pain and blood streaked sputum.
Concha Meretricis/ Cyclinae Ge Qiao 10g Clears Lung Heat, transforms Phlegm and descends Lung Qi.
With Qing Dai, for red eyes, bitter taste, pain in the ribs, paroxysmal cough and viscous sputum that is difficult to expectorate due to Lung Heat.
