With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Carbonisatus Sheng Di Tan 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
With E Jiao Zhu, for uterine hemorrhage due to Heat from Deficiency.
With Bai Shao,
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 15g Nourishes the Blood, regulates menstruation, astringes Yin, adjusts the Ying and Wei, softens the Liver and relieves pain.
Colla Corii Asini E Jiao Zhu 10g Nourishes the Blood, stops bleeding and nourishes and moistens Yin.
With Huang Lian, for Heat toxin clumping in the Intestines and injuring the Blood collaterals causing Blood and pus in the stools.
With Huang Qin and Bai Shao, for irritability and insomnia due to Yin Deficiency and severely injured fluids usually after a fever.

Rx. Sanguisorbae Carbonisatus Di Yu Tan 15g Cools the Blood and stops bleeding.
